Let's Get Productive!
Have you ever had that day when you have absolutely nothing to do? If so, this is the perfect page for you! Here, I will provide a list of things to do when you are so bored, you start losing your mind. (Me on most Monday's!) I encourage you to try these out, because they have all worked for me, and they all can be very beneficial to you. These tasks to do will include many activities that are fun, productive, and beneficial to your self-esteem, fitness, and health. Come along and enjoy the ride!
1. Running Time!
I know what most of you are saying: Come on! I thought these tasks were going to be fun! Well, we have all been in that place where NOTHING seems like it will satisfy you. However, whether you are a "running type of person" or not, running can help feed that hunger for entertainment better than stuffing your face full of cookies and watching reality tv. Did you know that running has been proven to make you happier? Yup, it's true. No matter how good or bad you feel at any given moment, running will make you feel better. If you are a regular runner, you know the feeling. According to runnersworld.com, "And it goes beyond just the “runner’s high”—that rush of feel-good hormones known as endocannabinoids." This quote states true facts. When you work out, you get put in this mood after you are finished; it can change your whole outlook on the day. So, if you are down in the dumps, or having an off day, go and workout! Whether it's in the gym, outside, or in the comfort of your own home, get some fresh air, and enjoy the feeling of working your body.
2. Let's organize!

Your life will be simpler and more put together. |
Yep, you heard it, organizing can be a fun way to stimulate your brain activity when you are bored. Not only is it beneficial to your mental health, but it will help you get your lie together more than you had planned. Organizing can be done in the simplest ways: make your bed, clean your room, empty your junk draw, and so much more! I know it is hard to believe, but organizing can be extremely fun. All you need is focus, some free time, and your favorite band playing in the background. Do it with a friend, family member, or just yourself, and you are bound to have a good time. No only that, but afterwards you will feel so much better about yourself and your life because everything is a little more together. Studies show that organizing can help boost your energy, and increase your happiness levels. Talk about a good package! Organizing can help you keep your life on track, which, I'm sure, everyone needs. So, if you are ever looking for something to do on a rainy day, try organizing out, I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
3. Just Relax.

Everyone needs time to yourself. |
When you are bored, the last thing you probably want to do is relax. Boredom has a way of making sure nothing you do to help it works. However, sometimes just the thing you need is right in front of you. Just relax. Think about it, everyday your brain is constantly working to fit the needs of others, so when you finally get the time to yourself, use it. Relaxing helps your brain reset and reload, so the next day, you are pumped and ready to go. If you are constantly on 100% all of the time, there is no way that your body will be programmed, or even want to relax. That is why it is so important to take a couple of minutes out of your day for yourself. If you do this everyday, you will look forward to the task of letting your mind and body reset, instead of thinking that it is another thing you have to do. Relaxation has been proven to reduce stress and increase happiness. Whether relaxing to you is reading a book, taking a nap, or spending time with family and friends, it is up to you to make it happen, so do it. Just be in the mindset of putting yourself first, before others, for just 10 minutes everyday, and you will come to love the time you have with yourself. If you have the time, I would seriously recommend trying this out, you will not regret it!
I do not know why there is a white highlight on all of the text, but I will try to un-do it soon!
